Deringer Announces New LCL Consolidation Services Deringer is pleased to announce the expansion of its consolidation services. The LCL, port-to-port, weekly services from China to the Mid-West and northeastern US and Canada offer competitive rates and quick transit time.

District Manager

An experienced transportation professional, Erica Holmes has been a key management figure whose leadership has brought success to several of Deringer‘s vital customer service centers.  With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Ms. Holmes is Deringer’s District Manager with oversight of Vermont and Maine operations.  She serves on Deringer’s leadership team, providing insight and helping to guide the company’s strategic direction.

Erica Holmes began her career with Deringer in 1993.  Shortly after joining Deringer, Erica participated in its intensive management training program for two years and concurrently obtained her US Customs Brokerage license.   Erica has managed customer service centers in Port Huron, Michigan; Derby Line and Highgate Springs, Vermont.  Management of these facilities included leading teams of up to 20 people and responsibility for the daily operations and profitability of all lines of business including Customs brokerage, transportation, and warehousing and distribution.  More recently, under Erica’s leadership, Deringer was able to research and develop new procedures to ensure the accuracy of Deringer’s invoices.

In addition to holding a US Customs brokerage license, Ms. Holmes is also a Certified Customs Specialist. She also serves on the Board of Directors for ieCanada, whose mission is to support the Canadian trade community. As part of her professional development, Erica takes classes at Champlain College based in Burlington, Vermont.
