Jake Holzscheiter is the fifth President of Deringer since its founding in 1919.  As a licensed Customs Broker with over 20 years of tenure with Deringer, Holzscheiter’s comprehensive experience includes the management of various aspects of branch office administration and logistics operations in the field, Vice President of Customs Affairs, and Senior Vice President.  In his role as Senior Vice President, he directed day-to-day operations, training, innovation, concept development, compliance and trade support for Deringer clients across the country and the world.

Throughout his career at Deringer, Holzscheiter has led a series of successful efforts to streamline and upgrade the company's operational procedures, including the implementation of a new ERP system.  As the former President of the Northern Border Customs Brokers Association and a member of its Board of Directors, as well as current trade chair of the broker sub-committee of Customs and Border Protection’s Trade Support Network, Jake’s active role in the logistics industry has helped to shape the legal and security initiatives of current and future international trade practices.
