DERINGER ANNOUNCES 2006 PRICE REVIEWS
SAINT ALBANS VT, DECEMBER 22, 2005 -- A.N. Deringer, Inc., the international logistics services provider, announced today that it would conduct its annual price review from January 2, 2006 to February 28, 2006. During this period, we will review and adjust standard rates based on target service levels and market conditions. In previous years, the average increase was approximately 5%.
"Each year we evaluate our fees to ensure that they are at the appropriate level. Regular reviews of our fees allow us to continue to provide a high level of service to our customers," commented Tito Rodriguez, Deringer’s Director of Marketing. "Key drivers of our costs are new government mandates that require increased security and data requirements. The CBP’s Automated Manifest System (AMS) is just one recent example. We have responded to this and other mandates by investing in technology solutions and our people."
Recent new Deringer programs designed to address these challenges include the Advanced Management Information Management System (AIMS), the Key Account Management Program (KAMP), the Deringer Invoice Dispute System (DIDS), Electronic Data Interface (EDI) tools and a user- friendly website. Each of these programs, and others, are examples of the value-driven services to which Deringer is committed. All customers affected by these changes will be notified via mail.
