With over 18 years of experience in the financial field and specific expertise in the logistics marketplace, Robert Lawrence is well suited to fill this post at A.N. Deringer, Inc.

Bob Lawrence joined the firm in 2004, having served at the supervisory level at several major public accounting firms for nine years including KPMG, a global provider of audit, tax and advisory services. Most recently, Bob held the position of Northern Border Finance Manager for UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Prior to that Bob was CFO & Treasurer of Trans Border Custom Service, Inc., which was acquired by UPS Supply Chain Solutions in 1999.

In addition to possessing an in-depth knowledge of annual budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow analysis and general fiscal policies, Bob is also contributing to the long-term vision of the company in several important areas. His responsibilities also include maintaining a system of financial, administrative, and risk management controls to manage the overall financial condition of the company.

Elected in December 2005 as Treasurer of the corporation, he is also a key member of the senior management team responsible for providing technology leadership, specifically focusing on the development and implementation of new enterprise wide information technology (IT) programs. Deringer's CEO Wayne Burl adds “Bob brings a wealth of financial experience and vision to the table, which will help us implement our strategic plan for the future”. Bob earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Vermont and is a Certified Public Accountant.
