With nearly 15 years of experience successfully developing and executing strategic business initiatives, product and marketing plans in the logistics marketplace, John brings a rare combination of business leadership, technical knowledge, and expertise to the Deringer management team.  In his current position as Senior Vice President, John has responsibility for corporate-wide sales management and business development.

The great nephew of the company's founder, John's familiarity and connection with the logistics business is life long.  Launching his career full-time with the company in 1991, John earned his license in Customhouse brokerage in 1993 and began a series of assignments that would take him to various Deringer offices around the country.  For five years, he served as Assistant Manager and Manager of several mid-west and east coast branch offices, where he was responsible for general management, staffing, marketing, operations, and the regional business development team. John played a pivotal role in establishing company standards for business process and customer service strategies.

During his tenure as Senior Vice President, John has successfully positioned the company to compete with the largest firms in the industry and supported the company's goal to provide an integrated platform of logistics services to an ever expanding client base.  Together with his management team and the company's other business and technical leaders, John is focused on continuing Deringer's innovation and leadership in the logistics marketplace.
