District Manager, LCB & CCS
Linda Mydland is Deringer’s Western District Manager. Her goals and responsibilities are primarily focused on customer satisfaction by ensuring that the operations in Deringer’s Washington, Montana, North Dakota, and Minnesota customer service centers (CSC) develop a strong international trade partnership with our existing and growing customer base. She began her career in international trade and logistics in 1989, joining Deringer in 1994.
Linda brings strategic development strength and account management experience to the leadership team. She also has an in-depth knowledge of Customs processes relating to the energy industry (e.g., oilfield and gas sectors) as well as meat inspection. In addition to her District Manager role, Linda manages a team of professionals in Deringer’s Sweet Grass CSC, who are intimately involved with pipeline movements in both crude oil and natural gas. Since Sweet Grass is one of the primary ports of entry for the movement of oilfield and gas-related commodities entering the US, Linda and her team have been an invaluable resource to the trade by providing Customs training courses relative to the energy industry. Moreover, Linda worked collaboratively with US Customs & Border Protection on the initial development and review of the entry filing process for international pipeline shipments arriving at ports of entry within the Western region of the US.
Linda received a degree in Fashion Merchandising from Kinman Business University and attended Carroll College for Business Administration. Linda obtained her individual Customs broker license in 1994 and is also a Certified Customs Specialist.
