A.N. Deringer Earns “2018 Best Places to Work in Vermont”

ST. ALBANS, VT – A.N. Deringer, Inc. (Deringer), a leading international logistics company, was recently named as one of the 2018 Best Places to Work in Vermont. Deringer is earning this designation for the second consecutive year and is one of 50 companies in the state to receive the honor.

This is the 12th annual list created by Vermont Business Magazine, the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Department of Economic Development, the Vermont Department of Labor, Best Companies Group, and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)-Vermont State Council. The statewide program is designed to identify and recognize the best employers in Vermont. Participating companies met the following requirements:

Have a facility in Vermont;
Have at least 15 employees working in Vermont; and
Be in business for at least one year.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Vermont. The first part evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, philosophies, systems, and demographics—worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey measuring the employee experience and comprised the remainder and majority of the evaluation. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Vermont, analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
