CFO & Treasurer, CPA

Bob joined the firm in 2004, having served at the supervisory level at several major public accounting firms for nine years including KPMG, a global provider of audit, tax, and advisory services. Prior to Deringer, Bob held the position of Northern Border Finance Manager for UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Previously, Bob held the position of CFO and Treasurer of Trans-Border Customs Services, Inc., which was acquired by UPS Supply Chain Solutions in 1999.
In addition to possessing an in-depth knowledge of annual budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and general fiscal policies, Bob also contributes to the long-term vision of the company in several important areas. His responsibilities include maintaining a system of financial, administrative, and risk management controls to manage the overall financial condition of the company.
Elected in December 2005 as Treasurer of the corporation, he is a key member of the leadership team. Bob earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University of Vermont and is a Certified Public Accountant. In his personal time, Bob coaches youth football, basketball, and baseball, and is a member of the Board of Directors for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta. Camp Ta-Kum-Ta is a tuition-free camp for kids who have or had cancer in the Vermont and northern New York area.
