Director of Operational Development, LCB & CCS

Sandra (Sandy) Langford-Coty is the Director of Operational Development. In this position, she strengthens Deringer’s operational efficiencies and compliance as well as increasing customer satisfaction.

Sandy is the current recipient of the Marjorie M. Shostak Distinguished Service Award, presented by the Foreign Trade Association at World Trade Week in May 2024. Sandy is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association (LACBFFA). Additionally, she serves the Pacific Coast Council of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association as Vice President. Sandy is active within US Customs and Border Protection’s Trade Support Network and Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) working groups and the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA). She holds much expertise within ACE and partner government agencies (PGA).

Prior to joining Deringer, Sandy served as Vice President of Customs Brokerage with a large logistics company. Sandy is based in Los Angeles and is a Licensed Customs Broker and a Certified Customs Specialist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts.
