Steps for Trade Account Owners to Reactivate User Accounts
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a reminder that ACE Portal Trade Account Owners (TAOs) can self‑manage user access, including reactivating inactive accounts.
TAOs may reactivate Proxy Trade Account Owner (PTAO) and Trade Account User (TAU) accounts directly in the ACE Portal by logging in, navigating to the Tools tab, selecting the user’s name, and choosing Reactivate.
Once reactivated, users should log in to the ACE Portal to confirm their access.
Detailed instructions are available in the ACE Portal User Management Guide under Reactivate and Revoke a User.
Due to the rapidly changing application and modifications of duty rates, please note that Deringer is not responsible for coordinating the timing of U.S. entry and imposed tariff rates.
