Furthermore, the ongoing challenges with water levels in the Panama Canal are impacting transit, leading to potential difficulties for East Coast cargo.

As both major gateways to the East Coast are facing hurdles, we anticipate a surge in cargo rerouted via the West Coast. As we prepare for a pre-Chinese New Year push (Feb 10), the beginning of 2024 is projected to be a particularly challenging period.
