Conect's Northeast Cargo Symposium
The Coalition of New England Companies for Trade (CONECT) presents this year’s Cargo Symposium at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. After opening remarks, the day will kick off with a CBP Panel on ACE and a session on the trends and realities of global ocean carriage. Tom Simmers, Executive Vice President of United States Maritime Alliance (USMX), will present the keynote address entitled “Peace or Turmoil? What’s in Store for East and Gulf Coast Longshore Contract Negotiations?”. The afternoon continues with sessions on “Shippers’ and Truckers’ Experiences at North American Cargo Ports” and “What Plans are in Place for Progress in 2016?”. Deringer’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Jack Bender, and New England Marketing Manager, Pam Baker, will be in attendance.
