Heavy snowfall has hampered rail delivery across Canada. Along the northern network, CN tracks were impassable and prevented trains from moving outbound over the weekend. Supply of inbound railcars is delayed, but movements are expected to resume next week. There are currently 13 trains between Winnipeg, MB, and Prince Rupert, BC.
Additionally, extreme cold temperatures across Canada have impacted rail delivery. Severe delays extend to rail shipments in transit and accessibility once containers arrive at CN’s Toronto terminal.
If you have questions concerning a specific shipment, please contact a Deringer service center. We will continue to provide updates as necessary.
