Director of Marketing
Pam Baker is a communications and business development executive with over 25 years of experience in assisting public and private sector organizations to develop and launch engaging and professional communications, business development, and marketing campaigns. She has worked in a variety of industries, including Customs brokerage, higher education, consumer-directed health care, engineering, and consulting.
Pam attended Ithaca College and has been with Deringer team for over eight years. Prior to joining the company, Pam worked for a national, publicly-traded health benefits corporation, multiple marketing agencies, and she co-owned a marketing and communications company for ten years. Her various communications and management roles have included public engagement programs, advertising, special event and conference coordination, preparation of complex business proposals, management of an inside sales team, and development and execution of business development campaigns.
As the Director of Marketing at Deringer, Pam is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that support the company’s growth and expansion. She enjoys working with multi-disciplined teams to provide a balanced approach to reactive and proactive marketing and sales activities. Her specialties include management and leadership, writing, public relations and community outreach, social media, web site development, lead generation, and communications content creation.
