EBTC Annual Workshop: Canada-US Border — Dynamics of Change
Taking place in Burlington, VT, the EBTC workshop agenda includes information regarding the implementation of the Beyond the Border Action Plan, the impending deployment of post–Panamax container ships, and other impacts of the global economy and supply chain, including how travel within the states and provinces in the EBTC region and at the respective border crossings will be affected. The four major federal agencies that enforce border policy and operations, Transport Canada, the Canada Border Services Agency, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Federal Highway Agency are expected to be represented at the workshop. Deringer’s Robert DeCamp, Director of Regulatory Affairs & Consulting, will also be speaking at this event.
The Eastern Border Transportation Coalition (EBTC) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to improving the movement of people and goods between the United States and Canada. EBTC members are the transportation agencies of the U.S. States of Michigan, New York, Vermont and Maine and the Canadian Provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador.
