CONECT presents "US Trade with Canada"
Join Deringer’s Account Executive, Tim Dooner, at the “US Trade with Canada” seminar presented by CONECT and the Canadian Consulate of New England. Patrick Binns, Consul General to New England, will offer a keynote address on Canada’s “Beyond the Border” Action Plan.
Other speakers include government agencies on both sides of the border, including US CBP and the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA), as well as representatives from Purolator, Albatrans, Gem Group, Ralf C. Hagen Co. and more. These practitioners of US/CDA trade will cover border processing, documentation, clearance, penalties and more. Industry experts will also cover topics such as the “One Border” pilot program and Canadian non-resident importer issues. A special segment by Rennie Alston, CEO, American River Int’l will cover “NAFTA, 20 Years After.”
The program runs from 1:00PM – 5:00 PM, followed by a Canadian Cocktail Reception. Come and meet your “Neighbors to the North” and learn how to export and import more effectively to/from Canada.
