For 100 years, A.N. Deringer has endeavored to treat employees with respect, honesty, and integrity as well as provide a rewarding career in a warm, friendly work environment. This culture of support and family atmosphere has led to many employees spending their entire careers with the company.  In our first 100 years, we are honored to note that 24 employees have celebrated over 40 years of service at Deringer.

A handful of those employees have recounted their best memories at Deringer, and why they stayed at the company for so long.  Here are their stories:

Gawaine Ward | 45 Years | 1973 – Present

When I think of Deringer, I think of one word: opportunity. It’s defined as “a set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.” We offer opportunity.  It’s up to us to take advantage of the offer.

Holly Henderson | 42 Years | 1976 – Present

Mutual respect and the benefits make it a worthwhile place to work. Also, the charity contributions that Deringer has always made to the community are very much appreciated.

Larry Rochon | 40 Years | 1970 – 2010

I am so proud to have been employed by A. N. Deringer, and to be part of its remarkable history. The company still delivers the personal touch, and being in business for 100 years proves it.

Steve Shepard | 40 Years | 1978 – Present

Deringer has always stressed saying “yes” to our customers whenever possible.  The company consistently focuses on superior customer service.  This is one reason that I have had such a long career here.  I have the same philosophy when it comes to our customers – we must provide the best service.

I feel more valued than ever, and I know others feel the same way.

It’s more than just the company I work for; it’s family to me.  Fellow employees have been there for me during the happiest and most difficult times in my life.  I’ll never forget what this company has done for me.

Chris LeConte | 47 Years | 1971 – Present

When I think of Deringer, I think of an outstanding and dedicated group of people coming together providing the best possible service to our customers that keeps them coming back, staying loyal to us, and seeing that we are truly committed to them, their needs, and doing our best to meet their expectations.

Skip Gray | 45 Years | 1974 – Present

This company overall has been great to work for, and I believe the leadership has the employees’ best interest in hand. Most of the current officers have always made time for a visit to our office. Local management and good workers have been a big reason for our success.
