Update Conference on Export Controls and Policy
Deringer’s Logistics Regulatory Specialist, Donna Kavanaugh, will attend the BIS Update Conference in November. The event promises to provide the latest information on complying with export control requirements on commercial goods. Specifically, it will focus on what items and activities are subject to the EAR, steps to determine the export licensing requirements for various items, how to determine export control classification numbers (ECCN), when you can export or reexport without applying for a license, export clearance procedures and recordkeeping requirements, and real life examples on applying this information.
