Supporting our communities is an essential core value at Deringer.
To celebrate and share the company’s centennial, Deringer donated a total of $100,000 to charitable organizations in each of the communities that host one of our operations centers.
A percentage of the $100,000 was apportioned to each of Deringer’s 30 locations across the United States. The employees in each office determined which organizations in their communities would receive the funds, with the corporate guidance that the donations be given to charities that support the wellbeing and safety of children, provide food or shelter to those in need, or provide animal care and rescue. Over 70 organizations received the donations.
Jake Holzscheiter, President and CEO of Deringer said:
“Traditionally, we’ve been quiet about our charitable contributions. We donate because it’s the right thing to do. We prefer to approach these things from a place of humility, but we also feel it’s important to encourage other companies to give back. We felt this was a way for our employees to stay connected to the causes that are important to all of us within our communities.”
