On September 20, 2020, over 100 exclusions from Lists 1 and 2 of the Section 301 tariffs on Chinese goods are set to expire. The Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) granted exclusion extensions for 62 of the 310 exclusions found on List 1 and 17 of the 86 exclusions found on List 2; the extended exclusions have a new expiration of December 31, 2020.

The List 1 exclusions that were extended will now be listed in U.S. Note 20(kkk) and filed under subheading 9903.88.58, and the extended List 2 exclusions will be listed in U.S. Note 20 (lll) and filed under subheading 9903.88.59.
