The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) recently issued amended final results for the sixth administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain softwood lumber products from Canada. This review covers imports of softwood lumber products from Canada that entered the United States from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. The final margin rate for non-selected companies listed in the Appendix, which applies to most Canadian companies, has been adjusted to 20.53 percent from the originally set 20.56 percent.
The DOC will instruct CBP to liquidate all entries of subject merchandise that entered the United States during the review period and to assess duties at the final rates no earlier than 41 days after the publication of the final review in the Federal Register.
The amended cash deposit rates for both selected and non-selected companies will apply to all entries of subject merchandise entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after July 29, 2025.
The all-others rate of 6.04 percent established in the original antidumping investigation will continue to apply to exporters or producers not covered in this review or in any previously completed segments of this proceeding.
