Long Island Import Export Association's Air Cargo Security, Screening & Hazmat

The Long Island Import Export Association (LIIEA) is one of the best resources for companies that are thinking of importing or exporting products or services. The Long Island Import Export Association provides "one stop shopping" for meeting other Long Island professionals engaged in all aspects of international trade. Their comprehensive educational opportunities provide professionals with an opportunity to stay abreast of industry changes and trends.
The March event, held in Woodbury, NY, includes presenters from the FAA and TSA covering many topics, such as lithium battery regulatory updates, hazmat safety program and inspection process, TSA's "Known Shipper Management System", and ensuring air cargo complies and moves quickly through the new screening process. Deringer's account executive, Michelle Del Pozzo, will be in attendance.
