The Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) granted 87 Section 301 List 4 exclusion extensions, leaving more than 100 to expire on September 1, 2020. The exclusion extensions granted will expire December 31, 2020. Goods not included in the exclusion extensions will be subject to the additional 7.5 percent tariff applicable to Section 301 List 4A goods.
The 87 products provided with exclusion extensions include certain plastic and medical products, apparel and linens, machinery and electronics, and other goods. The list of exclusions can be found in the “Notice of Extensions for Exclusions” dated August 28th on USTR’s website.
